Sol Candles & Scents is unable to provide refunds or exchanges without proof of goods. Sol Candles & Scents require photo’s of the goods so they can determine how the goods have been damaged. We stand by our product and will happily offer a refund or exchange if they deem the goods to be faulty due to manufacturing.
Sol Candles & Scents reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if:
1. If you got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.
2. Misused a product in any way that caused the problem
3. Knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
4. Asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of Sol Candles & Scents or were unclear about what you wanted
5. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please be sure to contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
6. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
7. Once your photo’s are received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we are reviewing your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.
8. Sol Candles & Scents reserves the right to choose to either refund you or replace your purchase.
9. If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com
10. All shipped items are insured. Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. It is unlikely that anything will be damaged as we pack our orders well. If you detect visible physical damage or missing items, email us immediately if damage has been detected.
11. All our Candles are hand poured and Hand Made so there will be variance in colour. Sol Candles & Scents will not accept an exchange or refund if you are unhappy with the colouring.
12. If it is found that your Candle has been exposed to heat which has resulted in the wax melting. Always leave your candles in a cool place.
13. If it is found that your candle has been exposed to direct sunlight resulting in colour fading.
